Sector Best Practices – Intellectual Property & Confidentiality Protection
In the course of our supply-chain development, sourcing and quality-assurance work across hotel FF&E, construction materials, lighting, furniture, jewellery, medical consumables and other specialised sectors, the protection of our clients’ intellectual property and confidential information is non-negotiable.
As standard operating procedure:
- Every vendor, factory and service provider engaged on a client project is required to execute a comprehensive Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement (NDCA) before any technical drawings, specifications, samples or commercial data are shared.
- We maintain continuous monitoring for potential intellectual-property breaches throughout the project lifecycle, including unauthorised production, design leakage and parallel sales.
- Any suspected infringement is escalated immediately to the client and, where appropriate, to legal counsel in the relevant jurisdiction.
These measures form an integral part of our risk-management framework and are applied consistently across all sectors in which we operate.
